'This is all' was not even an exaggerated title when Aidan Chambers used it for his new youth novel in 2005. With the self-centred curiosity of a teenager and the wisdom of an experienced mother, his main character Cordelia Kenn talks about many subjects, especially love. Marieke Dilles and Femke Heijens have of course had to limit themselves in their stage adaptation, but not in their chosen forms. Dit is alles uses film images, written lists and quotations on the overhead projector. This results in one of those rare youth performances in which an expressive form also embraces enriching content. Dilles moves between all these fresh ideas like a fish in water and ensures that your throat becomes more constricted with every scene. This total lack of complexes enabled the jury to emerge feeling purified.
