Red Hall deSingel Antwerp
In this choreography, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker questions her own methods. The repetitive music disappears. All we hear are arias and sounds in the background, which the choreographer combines with footage and text. The movements are of necessity stripped of their incantatory repetition and have to find their own way in a different manner. The subtle dance that this generates evokes emotions that are almost tangible.
