In her quest for the accomplishment of 'big things', this American dancer and choreographer makes pastiches of all sorts of performing artists and digs up images from pop culture, dance history and the underground. She metamorphoses into a rapper, a ballerina, a diva and a polar bear, making grateful use of all the possibilities the stage has to offer. '(BIG GIRLS DO BIG THINGS)' has both grandeur and vulnerability, pride and modesty, visibility and subtlety. Eleanor Bauer effortlessly combines dance with singing, theatre and stand-up. She took a dance course at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and at P.A.R.T.S.
