The 'Curating the Campus' project, launched in 2003, involves the installation of a new work of art by a young or established Belgian or international artist on the deSingel site every year. This long-running exhibition is intended to reflect the architecture and cultural mission of deSingel. 'Proposal for a New European Flag', by the Brussels artist Christophe Terlinden (1969), is a poetical, political and visual plea for a less divided Europe. In the past we have installed works by Pierre Bismuth (F), Jan Fabre (B), Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (F), Matt Mullican (USA), Itziar Okariz (E), Walter Swennen (B), Joelle Tuerlinckx (B), Richard Venlet (B) and Rémy Zaugg (CH).
