At 8 pm on Thursday 19th April we unveiled the seventh piece in the series. It is by the Basque artist Itziar Okariz (b. 1965, San Sebastian, lives in New York). Her work takes its place in the postfeminist era. The title, 'Mear en el espacio publico y privado' ('Pissing in public and private places') at first sight appears provocative. But in fact the work is executed without an audience. The only evidence left of the marking and appropriation of a particular spot is a signboard.
