AN AUDITORIUM FOR LARGE-SCALE THEATRE, DANCE AND MUSIC - THEATRE PRODUCTIONS
The Red Hall has an expansive stage - the essential technical prerequisite for the presentation of large-scale international theatre and dance productions.
The auditorium seats eight hundred spectators.
Optimal theatre acoustics
The acoustics of the hall are optimal for theatre productions (reverberation rate 1.1 to 1.3 sec.)
Orchestra pit
The performances can have a live accompaniment from the orchestra pit.
Adaptable stage size and audience capacity
Not all performances command over large audiences. In this case, a curtain is designed to reduce the auditorium's seating area. If necessary, an extra podium can go in the auditorium or on to the stage.
Technical facilities stage area
The stage has a depth of more than 21 metres. Over the greatest expanse (to depth of 14 metres) is a 27-metre high tower, which contains the catwalk and grid system. It is provided with 41 manual pulleys. The downstage (depth 7 metres) has a height of 12.5 metres and has motorized winches.
The proscenium has a depth of 3 metres. It can be extended the same length, which brings the orchestra pit up to stage level. There is a spacious rehearsal theatre in the wings. The portal can vary from 14 metres (width) x 9 (height) - to 9 x 5 metres. The sound and lighting installations in the Red Hall are perfect.
