Daniel Linehan comes on stage and starts spinning around his own axis. This spinning starts calmly, but gradually develops into an obsessive and insane dance. A real feat of strength in which this frail dancer explores the limits of his body and mind by dancing, thinking and speaking to the audience all at the same time. While spinning, Linehan tells the audience that his solo is not about therapy, despair, endurance or politics. Nor about virtuosity or philosophy. But while he is talking about all the things he doesn't want to talk about, he concentrates your attention on a world that is much larger than his small circle. 'Not about everything' is an intelligent and virtuoso solo by a gifted dancer. Linehan, from Brooklyn in New York, is currently studying at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels.
